Welcome to the Cedar Hills Vineyard

 

 

 Grapes, berries, and brambles. Wildflowers and birding. Two seasons and its accompanying harvest melds nearly seamlessly into the next at our picturesque vineyard nestled on a beautiful hillside.  Our new dining room and tasting room accommodate wine tasting, fresh fruit pies and cobblers.  Cedar Hills Vineyard and Gardens' guests marvel at the array of food growing here.

Relax while enjoying a glass of Nebraska's finest wines and taking in the beautiful view of the South Loup river valley.

The strawberries are  ripe.  Call for availability.  They really need some sunshine and warmth to really get going so it will be dependent on the weather as to when they peak.  Pick your own available.

Lunch is being served this Friday, June 5th.  Please call for reservation.

We will be at the Kearney Farmer's Market on Wednesdays 4 - 7 p.m. and Saturdays 8 - 12.  (K-mart parking lot)

Nebraska made gifts are available.

Hours: Friday & Saturday: 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (or ) by reservation for group luncheons or evening meals or tours.  Or make an appointment for individual  tastings. Why not give a gift certificate from the tasting room for that hard to buy for person?  Can be used for wines, meals, or anything else in the tasting room.

Five miles east of Ravenna on highway #2 to Range Rd, then turn north 2 1/2 miles to 375th Rd, turn west 3/4  mile to the 2nd mail box and the Cedar Hills Vineyard sign at the driveway.  Just 45 minutes from Kearney or Grand Island, Nebraska,  2 hours from Lincoln.

 Strawberry Sangria:  1 cup thinly sliced strawberries, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 whole lemon thinly sliced, 1 bottle Cedar Hills Strawberry Sensation wine, 2 cups club soda.    Combine strawberries, sugar and lemon slices.  Stir mixture bruising the fruit lightly.  Pour in wine, cover and chill 1 hr at least.  Remove lemon slices.  In punch bowl or pitcher, blend wine mixture with club soda.  Add ice to glasses.  Ladle or pour wine into glasses.  Serves 6.

Blackberry Sangria: 1 cup crushed blackberries, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 lemon & 1 lime sliced thin, 1 bottle Cedar Hills LaCrosse white wine, 2 cups club soda.  Follow directions for sangria above.
